An absolute gem among eriosyce! Very short spines, it has flattened, mostly underground body, the unusual colouring ranges from dark green to purplish-brown, 3-4 cm in diameter. Large yellow flowers are up to 4 cm in diameter.
It is a slow growing and rather difficult to grow species, must be kept dry during autumn and winter. It needs good drainage and very a porous potting mixture (their taproot is very rot prone!)
We use pure mineral substrate (Lechuza Pon) which we recommend. Keep dry in winter.
You will receive a bare root plant- it is a safe way to transport cacti.
